Connected.horse project, another participant in start-up session for innovative projects

We continue to acquaint you with start-up session participants for innovative projects in agriculture, which will be held within Smart Farming World Summit Russia. Each startup will be able to make a project presentation and answer jury questions. At the end of the session, the jury will give its expert assessment of the projects and determine the most interesting and promising ones. Winning projects teams will have an opportunity to attend an additional training and to
get investments for start-ups development.

Connected.horse project

The Connected.horse project is created for remote monitoring of health and motor activity of horses and other large livestock animals. The strategic goal of the project is to provide for the owners of animals a mechanism for remote monitoring and to guarantee proactive detection of signs of diseases and problem states of animals.

It is expected within the project to develop a wearable sensor that performs primary data collection from animals, a cloud platform for collecting, aggregating and analyzing collected information and a mobile application for user access to analytics and monitoring in real time.

Project creators will have to solve a number of scientific and technical problems, related to digital signal processing and machine learning for a reliable determination of a number of vital indicators (such as pulse and respiratory rate) and recognition of behavioral activity patterns.

Ivan Melekhin

Founder and Director of LLC "ConnectedHorse"

Leaving the post of technical director of a major IT integrator in 2016, Melekhin Ivan took up outlook studies in the field of IoT in agriculture.

“ConnectedHorse” LLC is currently conducting research to develop technologies for remote monitoring of livestock animals, primarily horses. Connected.horse took part in the exhibition IoTExpoTexh 2017 in Berlin, where received a lot of positive feedback from potential customers.

If you have your own innovative project in the field of agriculture – you can submit an application for the start-up session on Smart Farming World Summit Russia and perhaps your idea will be evaluated by the jury and will receive additional support and funding.
